A.  INTRODUCTION TO THE YOUTH MINISTRY 

“Because Jesus said so, I’ll obey”

In response to the Great commission given by Jesus Himself, our youth ministry has put in place programs that are actively carried out to minister to young people. We have the Youth Evangelism department that provides training, preparation and organization of outreach events to equip our youths to reach out to their friends, loved ones and people on the street.

We have a Youth Discipleship department that mentor’s, teaches and counsels both the new and existing believers in the areas of their Assurance of Salvation, Christian-living and Experiencing God in their lives.

This is an extremely exciting time to be living in, not to mention the challenges of making relevant representation of Christ to youths of this generation! For this purpose, the youth ministry has the Creative Arts Team, Hospitality Team, Worship Team and Kids’ Praise Team to help our young people to discover their God-given talents, mold their character and display their love for Christ with a testimony through serving and loving one another.

The youth ministry is led by a youth committee with the assistance of our senior pastor Alfred Yeo. They are committed to see God raise up and equip ministers of truth who will live lives that exalt the Lord.

B.  HOW IT ALL BEGAN?

In the year 2000, God birthed a little band of young people together with a desire to reach fellow youths with whatever they have. The Youth Ministry presently comes together in the weekly youth service on Saturday to minister unto God, unto each in the body of Christ and unto the unreached as well as the unchurched.

C.  GOD HAS GIVEN THE INCREASE

The Youth Ministry is believing that God is raising a generation of young people who would stand on His uncompromised truths and willing to take the gospel of Christ to the corners and nooks of the world. In the past couple of years, God has given the increase, working through the fellowship, worship, discipleship, ministry and evangelism programmes in place. The young people are praying now for faith and renewed strength as they step forth out of their boats to reach the Master.

It is an extremely exciting time to be living in, not to mention the challenges of making relevant representation of Christ to youths in this generation! For this purpose, the youths have fellowship, ministry, and evangelism departments that work hand-in-hand so that in everything done - the focus of outreach never stops.
